Our Venue

Kershaw Ryan is nestled in the desert mountains.  Just a few hours North of Las Vegas the tranquil landscape is perfect and we can’t wait to share it with you.  

Our Theme

We chose this park to be able spend the day with you.  A perfect place for a wedding ceremony, a picnic in the park, a playground and natural spring swimming pond, horse shoes and volleyball are just a few of the days activities.

    The wedding will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 in Caliente, NV.

    The dress code is casual attire.  The wedding is outdoors at a state park.  Dress for the weather.  It may be hot, although cooler than Vegas.  There is also a natural spring wading pool if you’d like to bring a bathing suit and towel to cool off.  It’s only about thigh deep.  Kids love it!

    Yes, there is parking available at the wedding venue.  Note there is a $5.00 entry fee into the park.

    Kershaw Ryan is approx. 152 miles from Vegas, a beautiful and scenic two and half hour drive.

    Yes. We have a few rooms held for the Dewey-Ibarra Wedding at Shady Motel at 430 Front St. Caliente, NV. 89008.  To make a reservation, call 775-726-3106 or visit their website at www.shadymotel.net.  I’m not sure if you can book under the group on-line.  There is a dirt bike race the same weekend, so book early.  Reservations must be made by September 1 to get the discounted rate.  $92.00/night plus tax.  There are other motels, but not many.

    Kershaw Ryan State Park is located at 300 Kershaw Canyon Rd., Caliente, NV 89008.  There is a $5.00 entry fee into the park.
